Melbourne Vixens CubsFor each Melbourne Vixens home game in the 2013 ANZ Championship season, twelve (12) Melbourne Vixens junior members will be afforded the opportunity to be a Vixens Cub. The chosen Cubs, who will be selected at random, will be notified via email at least two (2) weeks in advance of the game and will be required to advise the Melbourne Vixens of their attendance by the Monday prior to the game.
If a selected Cub does not RSVP by the Monday, the Melbourne Vixens will attempt to contact them. However, if the Melbourne Vixens are unable to get in contact with the Cub by the Tuesday prior to the game, another Melbourne Vixens junior member will be chosen in their place.
The Cubs will have an opportunity to meet with and greet the athletes prior to escorting them out on court. As part of the experience, each Vixens Cub will be given a Vixens Cub VIP membership card & lanyard, together with a thank you card signed by one of the 2013 Melbourne Vixens athletes.
Match Day information
The Vixens Cub and parent/guardian must enter the arena by scanning their 2013 Melbourne Vixens membership card and meet at the Vixens Cub collection point one (1) hour prior to the start of the game. (Collection point will be communicated via email). The Vixens Cubs will be greeted by a Melbourne Vixens representative and taken behind the scenes to fulfil their on-court commitments.
Once the on-court commitments have ended, the Melbourne Vixens representative will take the Vixens Cubs back to the collection point for parents/guardians to collect their child in time for them to enjoy the match.
