Netball Victoria Zone Academy graduates Kate Moloney and Demi Woodlock have been awarded scholarships at the Victorian Institute of Sport.
The VIS netball program, run by Vixens coach Julie Hoornweg, prepares athletes for competition at elite level, both the ANZ Championship and the Australian National League, and selection in state and national teams.
A tall mid-court player, Moloney emerged through the Central West Zone Academy program where she gained a reputation for stamina and tenacity. She has represented Australia at U17 and U19 levels.

Noted for her athleticism, Woodlock consistently creates turn-over, using her range to advantage in defence. Shes been in both Australian junior sides and came through the Central East Zone Academy program.
