Monday Night netball: Vixens v Swifts
The undefeated Vixens have every plan to continue their unbeaten run against reigning ANZ Champions the NSW Swifts on Monday night at Hisense Area.
The Vixens have consistently set the benchmark in the 2009 ANZ Championship season, and show every sign of getting better as the season goes on. Sharelle McMahon and Caitlin Thwaites are in arguably career best form, Bianca Chatfield and Julie Corletto continue to shut down the best attackers in the league and the Vixens` well oiled machine comes together centrecourt with stellar perfomances from blistering midcourters Natasha Chokljat, Renae Hallinan and Chelsey Nash.
Inaugural ANZ Champions the NSW Swifts began 2009 with a lot to prove and this continues to be the case, as the former powerhouse sits on only two wins for the season. Perhaps a taste of old fashioned rivalry will give them the jolt they need to inject some fire in their bellies for the rest of the season?
