Chokljat joins state champs in premiership party
Vixens` centre Natasha Chokljat this week joined fellow Victorian and sporting champions on the banks of the Yarra to celebrate the state`s unprecedented dominance of national sport in 2009.
The Melbourne Vixens` phenomenal 2009 ANZ Championship season and premiership win drove the team and the sport into Victoria`s proud sporting limelight and added to state`s growing trophy cabinet.
On Tuesday, Natasha posed proudly with the ANZ Championship Cup and took the Vixens` rightful place among the most celebrated and high profile sporting teams in the country.
Other triumphant team representatives included Nick Jewell (Victorian Bushrangers), Cameron Smith (Melbourne Storm), Matthew Scarlett (Geelong Cats) and Archie Thompson (Melbourne Victory).
